Classification4.1 This specification covers three classes of toluene diiso-cyanates, based on isomer ratio, and three types based onacidity and hydrolyzable chloride.4.2 Each class may be subdivided int

    9、o three types on thebasis of acidity differences as follows:4.2.1 TypeIorAAcidity shall be between 0.0015 and0.0045 determined as percent HCl. Hydrolyzable chloride shallbe less than 0.01 %.4.2.2 Type II or BAcidity shall be between 0.0070 and0.012 as percent HCl. Hydrolyzable chloride shall be less

    10、 than0.015 %.4.2.3 Type III or CAcidity shall be greater than 0.012 aspercent HCl. Hydrolyzable chloride limits may be set at theconvenience of the supplier and purchaser.5. Requirements5.1 These materials shall conform to the requirementsprescribed in Table 1.6. Sampling and Test Methods6.1 The mat

    16、and EPA5regulations mayalso apply and should be consulted.8.2 MarkingShipping containers/documents shall bemarked with the name of the material, type, and the quantitycontained therein, and necessary hazard labels as defined bythe Department of Transportation for this material, the name ofthe manufa
