Everything from their washing machine that automatically orders new powder, to their smart speaker that buys them food, to the mobile phone that they cant turn off, to their Internet-connecte
38、d TV telling them what to watch. They feel trapped and unable to escape. I kind of agree with this, as I believe that people need a good work-life balance and should sometimes just switch everything off and go for a walk in the sunshine with their family. 2 Some people are realising that the family
39、unit is being degraded by everyone individually using their own tech. For example, Dad likes watching the news on TV, Mum likes downloading new recipes from the internet and the children are constantly playing games on their mobiles. The result of this is that no-one is talking to each about their day and putting effort into the family relationships.
