、Designation: C1877 18Standard Specification forAdhered Concrete Masonry Units1This standard is issued under the fixed designation C1877; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parenth

、eses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This specification covers solid, dry-cast, concrete ma-sonry units intended for use as an interior and exterior adheredveneer and are made from portland

、 cement, water, and suitablemineral aggregates with or without the inclusion of othermaterials.1.2 The text of this specification references notes andfootnotes which provide explanatory material. These notes andfootnotes (excluding those in tables and figures) shall not beconsidered as requirements

、of the standard.1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematicalconversions to SI units that are provided for information onlyand are not considered standard.NOTE 1Adhered concrete masonry units covered by this specificationare

、 made from lightweight or normal weight aggregates, or both.NOTE 2When particular features are desired, such as densityclassification, surface textures for appearance or bond, finish, color, fireresistance, insulation, acoustical properties, or other special features, suchproperties should be specif
