Scope1.1 This specification covers welded UNS N06625, UNSN06219 and UNS N08825 alloy boiler, heat exchanger, andcondense

    3、r tubes for general corrosion resisting and low orhigh-temperature service.1.2 This specification covers tubes18 to 5 in. (3.18 to 127mm), inclusive, in outside diameter and 0.015 to 0.500 in. (0.38to 12.70 mm), inclusive, in wall thickness. Specification B751lists the dimensional requirements of th

Tubes havingother dimensions may be furnished provided such tubingcomplies with all other requirements of this specification.1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematicalconversions to SI units that are provided f

Ordering Information3.1 Orders for material to this specification should includethe following information:3.1.1 Quantity (feet or number of lengths),3.1.2 UNS number,3.1.3 Size (outsize diameter, minimum or ave

    8、rage wallthickness),3.1.4 Length (random or specific),3.1.5 Class, and3.1.6 Grade if UNS N06625 is specified. If neither grade ofN06625 is specified, grade 1 will be supplied.3.1.7 ASTM designation.3.1.8 Product AnalysisState if required.3.1.9 CertificationState if a certification or a report of tes

    9、tresults is required.3.1.10 Purchaser InspectionState which tests or inspec-tions are to be witnessed, if any.4. Materials and Manufacture4.1 Tube shall be made from flat-rolled alloy by an auto-matic welding process with no addition or filler metal. Subse-quent to welding and prior to final anneali

    10、ng, the material shallbe cold-worked in either the weld metal only or both weld andbase metal.4.2 Tube shall be furnished with oxide removed. Whenbright annealing is used, descaling is not necessary.5. Chemical Composition5.1 The material shall conform to the composition limitsspecified in Table 1.

    11、One test is required for each lot as definedin Specification B751.5.2 If a product analysis is performed, it shall meet thechemistry limits prescribed in Table 1, subject to the analysistolerances of Specification B751.6. Mechanical and Other Properties6.1 Mechanical PropertiesThe material shall con

    12、form tothe mechanical property requirements specified in Table 2. Onetest is required for each lot as defined in Specification B751.6.2 Flattening TestA flattening test shall be made on eachend of one tube per lot. Superficial ruptures resulting fromsurface imperfections shall not be cause for rejec

    13、tion.6.3 Flange TestA flange test shall be made on each end ofone tube per lot.1This specification is under the jurisdiction of ASTM Committee B02 onNonferrous Metals and Alloys and is the direct responsibility of SubcommitteeB02.07 on Refined Nickel and Cobalt and Their Alloys.Current edition appro

    17、asonic.6.5 The manufacturer shall have the option to test to Class1 or 2 and select the nondestructive test methods, if notspecified by the purchaser.7. General Requirements7.1 Material furnished under this specification shall con-form to the applicable requirements of the current edition ofSpecific

    18、ation B751 unless otherwise provided herein.8. Product Marking8.1 In addition to the requirements of Specification B751,UNS N06625 tubes shall be marked with grade information.9.
