ASTM B432-2009 Standard Specification for Copper and Copper Alloy Clad Steel Plate.pdf

、Designation: B 432 09Standard Specification forCopper and Copper Alloy Clad Steel Plate1This standard is issued under the fixed designation B 432; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number

、in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope*1.1 This specification establishes the requirements for plateof a carbon steel or low-alloy steel base to which is integrallyand continuously bon

、ded on one or both sides a layer of copperor copper-base alloy. The material is generally intended forpressure vessel use but may be used in other structuralapplications where corrosion resistance or conductivity of thealloy is of prime importance.1.2 UnitsThe values stated in inch-pound units are t

、o beregarded as standard. The values given in parentheses aremathematical conversions to SI units that are provided forinformation only and are not considered standard.2.
