Scope*1.1 This specification2covers aluminum and aluminum-alloy drawn seamless tubes in straight lengths and coils for

    3、general purpose and pressure applications in alloys (Note 2),tempers, and thicknesses shown in Table 2. Coiled tubes aregenerally available only as round tubes with a wall thicknessnot exceeding 0.083 in. and only in nonheat-treatable alloys.1.2 Alloy and temper designations are in accordance withAN

    4、SI H35.1/H35.1(M). The equivalent Unified NumberingSystem alloy designations are those of Table 1 preceded byA9,for example, A91100 for aluminum designation 1100 in accor-dance with Practice E527.NOTE 1See Specification B483/B483M for aluminum-alloy drawntubes for general purpose applications; Speci

    18、Terminology3.1 Definitions:3.1.1 alclad seamless pipe or alclad seamless tubeacomposite pipe or tube product composed of a seamlessaluminum alloy core having on either the inside or the outsidesurface a metallurgically bonded aluminum or aluminum-alloycoating that is anodic to the core, thus electro

    19、lytically protect-ing the core against corrosion.3.1.2 extruded seamless round tubean extruded hollowproduct having a round cross section and a uniform wallthickness, which does not contain any line junctures resultingfrom method of manufacture.3.1.3 producerthe primary manufacturer of the material.

    20、3.1.4 seamless pipeextruded or drawn seamless tube hav-ing certain standardized sizes of outside diameter and wallthickness commonly designated by “Nominal Pipe Sizes” andAmerican National Standards Institute (ANSI) Schedule Num-bers.     30、on limits registered with the Aluminum Association and published in the “Teal Sheets” shall beconsidered the controlling composition. The “Teal Sheets” are available at http:/www.aluminum.org/tealsheets.EOthers includes listed elements for which no specific limit is shown as well as unlisted metalli

    31、c elements. The producer may analyze samples for trace elements notspecified in the specification. However, such analysis is not required and may not cover all metallic Others elements. Should any analysis by the producer or the purchaserestablish that an Others element exceeds the limit of Each or

    32、that the aggregate of several Others elements exceeds the limit of Total, the material shall be considerednon-conforming.FOther elementsTotal shall be the sum of unspecified metallic elements 0.010 % or more, rounded to the second decimal before determining the sum.GVanadium 0.05 % max.HThe aluminum

    33、 content shall be calculated by subtracting from 100.00 % the sum of all metallic elements present in amounts of 0.010 % or more each, roundedtothesecond decimal before determining the sum.IAlloy clad with Alloy 7072.JComposition of cladding alloy as applied during the course of manufacture. The sam

    34、ples from finished tube shall not be required to conform to these limits.KA Zr +Ti limit of 0.25 percent maximum may be used with this alloy designation for extruded and forged products only, but only when the supplier or producer and thepurchaser have mutually so agreed.
