General Conditions for Delivery3.1 Materials furnished to this specification shall conform tothe requirements of Specification A 1025, including anysupplementary requirements that are indicated in the purchaseorder. Failure to comply with the general requ

    5、irements ofSpecification A 1025 constitutes nonconformance with thisspecification. In case of conflict between the requirements ofthis specification and Specification A 1025, this specificationshall prevail.4. Chemical Composition4.1 The various grades shall conform to the requirements asto chemical

    6、 composition specified in Tables 1 and 2.4.2 The manufacturer shall furnish an analysis of eachshipment showing the elements specified in Table 1.4.3 The values shown in Table 2 are expected maximums.Upon request of the purchaser, the manufacturer shall furnishan analysis for any of these elements o

    7、n a cumulative basisover a period mutually agreed upon between the manufacturerand the purchaser.5. These alloys exhibit varyin

    13、g degreesof friability; therefore, some attrition may be expected intransit, storage, and handling. A quantitative test is not avail-able for rating relative friability of ferroalloys. A code systemhas been developed, therefore, for this purpose, and a numberrating each product type is shown in the

    14、last column of Table3. Definitions applicable to these code numbers are given inSpecification A 1025.6. Chemical Analysis6.1 The chemical analysis of the material shall be made inaccordance with the procedure for the ferroalloys as describedin Test Methods E 363 or alternative methods, agreed upon b

    15、ythe purchaser and supplier, that will yield equivalent results.6.2 If alternative methods of analysis are used, in case ofdiscrepancy, Test Methods E 363 shall be used for referee.6.3 Where no method is given in Test Methods E 363 for theanalysis for a particular element, the analysis shall be made

    16、 inaccordance with a procedure agreed upon between the manu-facturer and the purchaser.7.
