The logic control unit (LCU) as defined by Drawing 11830922 shall be configured for use in an AH-1S helicopter equipped with XM97E1 20 mn Armament Subsyst

    11、em. The control is a totally enclosed box that contains the required circuitry to translate signals from the aircraft into appropriate signals for turrent subsystem control and safe weapon firing sequences. The following functions shall be performed by the LCU: a. Convert resolver signals into appro

    12、priate inputs for the air craft Stabilization Control Augmentation System (SCAS) and also provide a control signal to enable the SCAS. h. Sense an out-of-coincidence. condi tion between the turrent and sighting station and also provide the necessary signals to drive the turrent back in alignment wit

    13、h the sighting station. Sense an angular difference (in azimuth or elevation) between the turrent and sighting station in excess of 1.5 degrees and provide a gun firing interrupt signal until the turrent and sight are in alignment. Limit the down elevation travel of the turret subsystem to 4.5 degre

    14、es while the system is in the ground mode and to provide a logic signal indicating this condition. c. d. e. Provide gun firing interrupt whenever +18 volts direct current f. Provide +15 Vdc, -15 Vdc, +5 Vdc to supply the electronics (Vdc) or -18 Vdc is not supplied externally, contained within the L

All parts having the same part number shall be completely interchangeable with each other and with like parts of other .manufacture with respect to instal lation and performance. Parts joined together by welding, brazi

    22、ng or riveting shall be interchangeable as assemblies. Requirement 7 . provisions for first article inspection. first article by the contractor shall be as specified in the contract and 4.4.
