24、described in the First Article and 4.4.4 Inspection equipment.- The inspection equipment required Quality Conformance Inspection Tables. * to perform the examinations and tests prescribed herein is described in the Paragraph Reference/Inspection Method column in the tables starting with Paragraph 4.
25、4.2.1. The contractor shall submit for approval inspection equipment designs in accordance with the terms of the contract. See Section 6 of MIL-A-48078 and 6.3 herein. 4.5 Test methods and procedures. (See 6.4) 4.5.1 Pull test of cable assembly (Dwg. 9244466) major defect.- * Ten (10) cable assembli
26、es shall be selected from each lot for this test. Test equipment shall be in accordance with 4.4.4. If any cable assembly fails to comply with the pull requirement specified on the applicable drawing, it shall be classed defective and the lot shall be rejected. approved fixture and subjected to the

The cable assembly shall be assembled to an * 4.5.2 Yield strength of strap assembly (Dwg. 9329696) major defect.- Ten (10) assemblies shall be selected from each lot for this test. Test equipment shall be in accordance with 4.4.4. If any strap assembly
28、 fails to comply with the yield requirement specified on the applicable drawing, it shall be classed defective and the lot shall be rejected. The test procedure shall be as specified on the applicable drawing. * 4.5.3 Salt spray test.- The specified parts shall be subjected to the salt spray test in
29、 accordance with ASTM B 117 using a 5% atomized sodium chloride solution, Exposure time shall be not less than two (2) hours. Examination shall be made for any evidence of corrosion or salt deposits indicative of improper coating. Any evidence of improper coating shall cause the part to be classed d
30、efect i ve. * 4,5.4 Functioning of M57 Firing Device (Dwg. 9244458).- This check test shall be performed 100% as specified in the applicable drawing. The test shall be performed as follows: Place the bail in the angular slot (functioning position) and depress the handle fully once and observe for a flash of the red light on the M40 test set, Place the bail in the vertical slot (safe position).
