    6、coated fabric, when tested as specified in table IV, shall conform to the requirements specified in table II. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection.- Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the

    15、performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own facilities or any commercial laboratory acceptable to the Government. reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections ar

    16、e deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. The Goverment reserves the right to exclude from consideration for acceptance any material or service for which in-process inspection has indicated non-conformance. 4.3.3 Examination of the end item.- The end item shall be examined in accordance with the de

    22、fects at the inspection levels and acceptable quality levels (AQLs) set forth in 4.3.3.1, 4.3.3.2 and 4.3.3.3, lot size for purposes of determining the sample size in accordance with ML-STD-105 shall be expressed in units of yards for the examination in 4.3.3.1, 4.3.3.2 and 4.3.3.3. T

    30、he specimens for this test shall be 1 by 6 inches. For the breaking strength test, the specimens shall be allowed to dry after the accelerated weathering test and then be conditioned at standard conditions for 4 hours. . 5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 5.1 Packaging.- Packaging shall be level A or C as

    31、specified (see 6.2). 5.1.1 Levels A and C.- The cloth, put-up as specified, shall be packaged in accordance with the applicable requirements for class 5 fabrics of PPP-P-51, except that in the put-up, the fabric shall not be secured from unwinding, practicable to produce a “soft roll“. Rolling of th

    32、e cloth shall be done with the minimum tension 5.2 Packing.- Packing shall be level A, B or C as specified (see 6.2). 5.2.1 Levels A, B and C.- The cloth shall be packed in accordance with the applicable requirements of PPP-P-51. be packed per container, with the rolls positioned two in width.
