    9、 LE! = 9999906 0330715 MIL-B-50762 (MU) 3.4 Environmental. 3.4.1 Storage temperature.- The body assembly shall show no evidence of cement separation, glass breakage or other physical failure, and shall meet all the requirements of this specification at standard ambient temperature (plus 60 to 90F) a

    10、fter having been exposed and thermally stabilized at ambient temperatures of minus 80 to plus 160F. 3.4.2 Operating temperatures.- The body assembly shall meet the applicable requirements of 3.5 while exposed at ambient temperatures of minus 40 and plus 150F. and thermally stabilized 3.5 Torque. 3.5

    11、.1 Diopter movement.- The running torque required to rotate the diopter movement through the range specified in 3.6.4.7 shall be within the limits of 1.5 and 6.0 lb-ins when checked at standard temperature. When checked at the temperature conditions specified in 3.4.2, the running torque shall not e

    14、fied in 3.4.2, the direct force shall not exceed 9.0 lbs. 3.5.4 Rotation of boresight knobs.- The running torque required to rotate each boresight knob through the range specified in 3.6.4,3 shall be within the limits of 0.5 and 5.0 lb-ins when checked at standard tempera- ture. When checked at the

    15、temperature conditions specified in 3.4.2 the running torque shall not exceed 8.0 lb-ins. 3.5.5 Electrical switch.- This requirement shall be met at standard temperature and the temperature conditions specified in 3.4.2.     18、lus or minus 500 volts, is applied between ground and image tube or power supply contact for a period of not less than one minute. 3.6.2 Electrical characteristics. 3.6.2.1 Image converter tube.- The inage converter tube shall be energized by the application of +24 2 6.0 vdc to the contact for the I

    19、R power supply (reference Drawing F11743800). 3.6.2.2 Reticle projector lamp.- The reticle projector lamp shall be energized by the application of 3-24 2 6.0 vdc to the contact for the reticle lamp (reference Drawing F11743800). 3.6.2.3 Reticle illumination.- Kith A minimum of 18 and a maximum of 30

    20、 volts energizing the projector lamp, the reticle markings shall appear clearly defined when viewing through the eyepiece with the image tube energized (see 3.6.2.1). 3.6.2.4 Image steadiness.- There shall be no visible flicker, no movement of the image nor audible sparking whm observed for 1 minute

This observation shall be made after the expiration of 15 seconds tube stabilization time. 3.6.3 Objective focusing range.- Rotation of Ring 8620059 shall cause the objective to bring targets from 200 meters to 1200 meters into focus . 3.6.4 Collimation,- These requirements shall be met prior to m

    22、eeting the requirements of 3.6.5. 3.6.4.1 Previbration setting.- An incident line of sight shall be provided which is perpendicular to Datum Plan llXll, within 0.2 mil. Co- incidence of this iine of sight with the instrument reticle shall be es- tablished by rotation of the boresight knobs. 3.6.4.2

    23、Reticle movement.- Reticle (boresight cross) movement shall be measured against an external target from the collimated setting of 3.6.4.1 to.meet the requirements of 3.6.4.2.1 and 3.6.4.2.2. 3.6.4.2.1 Elevation.- Clockwise rotation of the elevation knob shall mve the reticle, in a direction towards

    24、the knob, a minimum of 7.0 mils from the collimated setting. Counterclockwise rotation of the elevation knob shall move the reticle, in a direction away from the knob, a minimum of 7.0 mils from the collimated setting. 3.6.4.2.2 Deflection.- Clockwise rotation of the deflection knob shall move the r

The image tube shall be permitted a stabilization period of 15 seconds prior to conducting the resolution test of the infrared optical system. Upon completion of the stabilization period, view through the body assembly eyepiece with the unaided eye

    47、 and obtain best focus of the resolving power chart by means of the eyepiece diopter adjustment knob. Any change in the diopter readings by adjustment of the eyepiece diopter knob to obtain the detect- able line structure and proper line count in all four meridians shall be recorded, as measured on
