This document IS Identical to IS0 6-1993 and the following five paragraphs are the orlginal foreword as it appeared in that document.) IS0 (the InternatIonal Organization for Standardization; IS a warldwlde fed- eration

    19、 of national standards bodies (IS0 member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards IS normally carried out through IS0 tech- nical committees. Each member body Interested In a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee

    20、. InternatIonal organizations, governmental and non-gov- ernmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the worh. IS0 collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnlcal CornmIssion (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. Draft International Standards adopted by the tec

    21、hnical committees are cir- culated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International Standard requires approval by at least 75% of the member bodies casting a vote. International Standard IS0 6 was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 42, Photography. This second edltion cancels and

    22、 replaces the first edrtron (IS0 6: 1981), which has been technically revised. Annexes A and B of this International Standard are for InformatIon only.     29、speed, e.g. IS0 21”, c) by both its anthmettc and its loganthmlc s.peed, e.g. IS0 100/21”. However, since the speed IS dependent OII the 0 - illumrnant, exposure time and process used, these condrtrons should be clearly Indicated whenever prac- tical when quoting values to avoid misinterpretation. 4
