12、(CAMAC).This standard denes a serial highway interface system for use with CAMAC crate assemblies in accordance withANSI/IEEE Std 583-1982, Modular Instrumentation and Digital Interface System (CAMAC), and with othercontrolled devices. It is based on ERDA2Report TID-26488, Dec 1973, and ESONE Report

13、 ESONE/SH/01, Nov1974 (modied by subsequently issued supplements), as developed by the NIM Committee of the US Department ofEnergy,* and the ESONE Committee of European Laboratories.* A parallel highway interface system, also intendedfor use with ANSI/IEEE Std 583-1982, is dened in ANSI/IEEE Std 596

A report essentially identical to ANSI/IEEE Std 595-1982 has been issued by the ESONE Committee asEUR 6100.This standard was reviewed and balloted by the Nuclear Instruments and Detectors Committee of the IEEE Nuclearand Plasma Sciences Society.
