Classification is based on composition of the more popular single and multi-component gases.Additional requirements are included for purity and mois

    4、ture of individual gas components, testing, retesting, packaging,and cylinder or container labeling. An annex is appended to the standard as a source of information concerning the classification system and the intended use of the gases and gas mixtures.This specification makes use of both U.S. Custo

    5、mary Units and the International System of Units (SI).     9、 AmericanWelding Society (AWS) are voluntary consensus standards that have been developed in accordance with the rules of theAmerican National Standards Institute (ANSI). When AWS American National Standards are either incorporated in, ormade part of, documents that are included in federal or state

    10、laws and regulations, or the regulations of other governmen-tal bodies, their provisions carry the full legal authority of the statute. In such cases, any changes in those AWS standardsmust be approved by the governmental body having statutory jurisdiction before they can become a part of those laws

    11、 andregulations. In all cases, these standards carry the full legal authority of the contract or other document that invokes theAWS standards. When this contractual relationship exists, changes in or deviations from requirements of an AWS standard must be by agreement between the contracting parties

    12、.AWS American National Standards are developed through a consensus standards development process that brings together volunteers representing varied viewpoints and interests to achieve consensus. While the AWS adminis-ters the process and establishes rules to promote fairness in the development of c
