The requirements include chemical composition of the electrode for solid electrod

    4、es and of weld metal forcomposite (cored) electrodes, in addition to the mechanical properties and soundness of weld metal taken from a grooveweld made with these electrodes using the prescribed welding procedure. Standard electrode sizes, marking, and packag-ing requirements are included.This speci

    5、fication makes use of both U.S. Customary Units and the International System of Units (SI).
