    15、ich assist HMI designers to achieve high quality HMIs. An example of a guideline in Z.361 is the avoidance of presentation of unnecessary information. Another example is to maintain the context from which specific task managers or applications are launched until the task is completed or the applicat

    16、ion closed. ITU-T Recommendation Z.371, Graphic Information for telecommunication management objects.2This Recommendation provides information about the way in which telecommunications resources are displayed at end-user workstations. In particular, it deals with graphical user interfaces and the in

    17、formation requirements for displaying telecommunications objects. Examples of such objects are Container, Link, Equipment, and Network Node. ITU-T Recommendation Z.372, Templates for telecommunications human-machine interfaces.2This Recommendation provides a specification for the design of the HMI f

    18、or object browsers. An object browser allows a user to select an object from a class of objects and perform some required functions on that object. This specification is called a pattern and is a key example of an actual task manager created when designers apply dialogue methods and controls to spec

    19、ific applications requirements at the HMI. A software pattern is used by designers to generate templates and specific instantiations for products. Object browsing is one of a few generic tasks performed by operators of telecommunications networks across a wide range of network and service management
