Keywords: Drive shaft, Implement, Power take-off 1 Purpose 1.1 The purpose of this Standard is to establish multiple categories of universal joint drive shafts with two subsets of telescoping members

14、 each, one heavy duty, HD, and one regular duty, RD 1.2 The intended use of the drive shafts is between tractor power take-off (PTO) shafts and power input connections (PIC), or any universal joint application within the implement. The PTO drive shaft from the tractor PTO to the (PIC) is considered

15、a part of the implement. 1.3 This Standard does not provide for dimensional interchangeability from one implement to another. 2 Normative References The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. 19、Drive shafts shall meet the requirements of the static and dynamic tests. Separate assemblies shall be used for each test. 4.2 Static torsional tests 4.2.1 Torsional yield test for cross and bearing kit and yokes. With zero angularity, cross, bearings, and yokes shall withstand the static torque sho

Failure is defined as a break, crack or permanent deformation greater than a 50% change in the slope of the torque deflection curve. 4.2.2 Torsional yield test for connecting members. Telescoping members between universal joints shall withstand the static torque shown

21、in Table 1 without failure. Failure is defined as any break, crack or permanent deformation exceeding 1 degree per 305 mm of length (1 degree per lineal foot). This does not apply to torque limiters used between joint centers. Table 1 Static torsional requirements Category Cross, Bearing, and Yoke A

Failure of a cross and bearing kit will
