Itincorporates changes to MIL-C-81659 that have takenplace since ARINC Specification 404A was publ

29、ished in1974. These changes have not affected the form, fit orfunction of the connectors. In addition, new avionicsinstallations on commercial aircraft are requiring the useof connectors that provide EMI protection. These EMIrequirements have been added to this Specification.ARINC Specification 404B

30、 contains provisions for theconnectors along with Appendices A and B that define theconnector insert arrangements and the connector keyinglayouts, respectively. In addition, there is a series of 12connector drawings defining the dimensionalconfiguration of the four basic shell sizes for plugs, recept

31、acles and plugs with EMI capability. ThisSpecification improves definition of the connector portionof ARINC Specification 404A.1.2 ClassificationConnectors covered by this standard should have wiresupport grommets.1.2.1 Temperature RatingThe connector should be operable between thetemperature ranges
