The cnisher/pla

    2、nt shall be capable of crushing quarried rock, sand and gravel, dolomite limestone, traprock and construction rubble consisting of steel reinforced concrete, brick, block and asphalt. The Crushedplant shall have a design rated capacity of 100 to 250 tons per hour depending on specific products being

    3、 made and conditions. The crusher/plant shall be a horizontal shaft impactor of sufficient size to accept and crush stones as large as 48 inches in diameter. The overall production quantity of the crusher/plant shall be 100 to 250 tons per hour for materials having a physical property of MOHs hardne

    4、ss scale up to 7. NSN 3820-00-060- 1 84 1. PRODUCT SIZE TONS PER HOUR (TPH) a. Rock/SandGravel 1 1/2” minus 250 TPH b. Recycle Reinforced Concrete 150 to 200 TPH c.     5、er/plant shall be fed by means of a vibrating type grizzly feeder, V-belt driven by a variable speed electric motor. The feeder shall include a receiving hopper, a grizzly section consisting of stationary bars, and a bypass chute with a flop gate to allow desired routing of the fuies. The feed hoppe

    6、r and vibrating feeder shall have a common support structure which allows for removal as an individual unit. The grizzly fines conveyor shall be crusherlplant mounted and have a minimum 18 inch width. It shall be reversi

    8、ble to discharge material to either side of the unit. Conveyor components shall include head pulley assembly, a tail pulley assembly with screw type takeups, antifriction rollers, rollers spaced on 48 inch maximum centers, fll length skirtboards, 2-ply minimum standard commercial belting and V-belt

    9、driven by an electric motor. C. Crusher. The crusher shall be a horizontal shaft impact type. The rotor shall be of solid steel construction and V-belt driven by the units diesel engine. The crusher shall have a hinged housing hydraulically operated for access to the rotor and curtains. The crusher

    10、shall have a minimum of two independent, adjustable impact curtains, one serving as the primary and the other as the secondary. The primary curtain shall be a solid reversible casting with wrench-type adjustment. The secondary curtain shall be fabricated with replaceable liners and be hydraulically

    11、shim adjusted. The crusher feed opening shall e a minimum of 4 feet wide by 3 feet high. The crusher shall be mounted over a gathering hopper with replaceable steel liners. D. nve or. The crusher discharge conveyor shall be crusher/plant mounted and be a minimum of 42 inches in width. Conveyor compo

    12、nents shall include lagged head pulley assembly, self cleaning tail pulley assembly with screw type take-ups, troughing rollers spaced on 48 inch maximum centers and antifnction return roller. Also to be included is an impact rail assembly in the loading area, with impact absorbing replaceable rails

    13、, 2 ply minimum standard commercial belting, V-belt driven by an electric motor. An electromagnet shall be provided to remove any ferrous metal before the material is discharged onto the screen. E. Double Deck Vibrating: Screen. The vibrating screen shall be 5 x 16 inclined, double deck, to include

    14、an eccentric shaft assembly, corner support springs and be V-belt driven by an electric motor. The screen shall have the means to divert the sized material to the proper conveyor/hopper. The return conveyor shall be plant mounted and be a minimum of 24 inches in width. Conveyor components shall include head pulley assembly, tail pulley assemb

    16、ly with screws type take-ups, troughing rollers spaced on 48- inch maximum centers, return rollers, full length skirtboards, 2 ply minimum standard commercial belting and V-belt driven by an electric motor. G. Folding and Re versible Side Discharge Conveyor. The side discharge conveyor shall be crus

    17、herplant mounted with a minimum width of 24 inches. Conveyor components shall include a head shaft assembly, tail pulley assembly with screw type take-ups, a gathering hopper, troughing rollers spaced on 48 inch maximum centers, return rollers, 2 ply minimum standard commercial belting and V-belt dr

    18、iven by an electric motor. H. Front Discharge Conveyor. The front discharge conveyor shall be crusher/plant mounted and be a minimum of 42 inches in width. Conveyor components shall include lagged head pulley assembly with screw type take-ups, self cleaning tail pulley assembly, troughing rollers, s

    19、paced on 48 inches maximum centers, return rollers, 2 ply minimum standard commercial belting and V-belt driven by an electric motor. I. Radial Stacking Conveyor. Included are three 30” by 60 portable radial stackers each powered by an electric motor (minimum 15 hp), pre-wired for plug in to the con

    20、trol panel, hydraulically adjustable 19 3” discharge height, gathering hoppers, swivel wheels for conversion from towing to radial configuration and anchor pivot plates. J. Power Unit. The power unit shall be plant mounted and consist of a diesel engine rated at a minimum of 325 horsepower (hp) cont

    21、inuous at 1899 RPM, which shall directly drive both the crusher and a 460 volt, 3 phase, 60 cycle, 100 KW rated generator. The diesel engine shall supply the necessary power required to operate both the crusher and 100 KW generator simultaneously at full design rating. The engine shall operate satis

    22、factorily on grade JP-4 and JP-5 fuel conforming to MIL-T-5624 under emergency, short duration conditions and on grade JP-8 fuel conforming to MIL-T-83 133 under normal conditions. The generator shall be sufficient in size to run all plant mounted electric motors plus three additional minimum 15 Hp

    23、motors for the radial stackers. The diesel engine shall be equipped with, but not limited to, hood and sides, heavy duty dry type air cleaners, muffler and vertical exhaust stack, instruments including tachometer, hourmeter, temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge and voltmeter, alternator and voltage

    24、 regulator, 24 volt electric starting system including batteries, box and cables, 200 gallon minimum fuel capacity, low oil pressure, high temperature and high RPM safety devices, a governor and a sufcient size clutch for engaging and disengaging the crusher. The engine shall have a run and idle spe

Control Panel. The control panel shall be plant mounted and conform to BEMA 4 enclosures. It shall provide a main c

    26、ircuit breaker that will disconnect the entire plant load fiom the electrical power source circuit and also provide circuit breakers for each electrical branch circuit. The control panel shall be provided with the necessary circuit receptacles mounted on the side of the enclosure for receiving elect

    27、rical connections from the auxiliary equipment. All power receptacles shall have spring loaded covers. A motor controller, operated by a momentary contact start, and maintained contact stop pushbuttons, shall be provided for each electric motor and be mounted in a remote pendant station located at t

    28、he operator level. The remote station shall include an emergency panic button. These pushbuttons shall be wired in sequence of plant operation and carry a maximum of 1 15 volts. An emergency panic button, which controls tripping of the main circuit breaker, shall be installed in the control panel do

    29、or and be easily accessible from ground level. L. ODerator and Service Platforms. An operators platform, complete with railings, ladder and non-skid flooring, shall be provided. In addition to the operators platform, service type platforms shall be located in the impact crusher and power unit areas

    30、to facilitate maintenance and service. Ladders shall provide access to service type platforms where applicable. M. Guards. All V-belt drives shall be provided guards. The power Unit drive guards, shall have a hinged door in front of each drive sheave to facilitate maintenance and service. N. Electri

    31、c Motors. All electric motors shall by polyphase induction motors and of the totally enclosed fan cooled configuration. The rated horsepower of each electric motor shall be equal to or greater than the horsepower requirement of the driven equipment, under all operating conditions including full rate

    32、d capacity. The electric motors shall be suitable for operation on 460 volt, 60 hertz, 3 phase, CA power supply. O. Electromayetic Separator. A standard commercial self cleaning belt magnet to remove rebar and metal from crushed concrete at the crusher discharge conveyor to eliminate metal rebar and

    33、 other objects from entering the double deck vibrating screens. The self cleaning belt shall be clad with stainless steel plates with intermittent cleats. P. Hydraulic Lift/LevelinF System. A DC powered hydraulic lift/leveling system shall be provided. Q. -g untin . The crusher/plant shall be semi-t

    34、railer mounted. All tires on the semi-trailer shall be the same tubeless type, rim size, tire size and ply rating. Rim and tire ratings shall conform to the Tire and Rim Association recommendations for the type and size of tires furnished for the load supported. The trailer brakes shall be full air

    35、type 4 Licensed by Information Handling Servicesa A-A-58062 with air controls. The front of the trailer shall be equipped with a fifth wheel plate and pin that will hook up to commercial fifth wheel heights of 48 to 51 inches. The semi- trailer shall be equipped with one set of two 24-volt hydraulic

    36、ally operated leveling jacks. R. Maintenance Kit. A maintenance kit consisting of filter elements, O-rings and other parts required for the first maintenance service at 50 operating hours shall be provided. This kit shall be noted separately in the (1) parts book, (2) operators manual and (3) servic

    37、e manual. The maintenance kit shall be used as an Air Force War Readiness Supplies Kit (WRSK) for field operations. S. Manuals. Each crusher/plant shall be provided with two copies each of (1) parts book, (2) operators manual and (3) service manual. T. Spare Parts Kit. The supplier of the crusher/pl

    38、ant shall furnish a spare parts kit that will ensure operational capability for a minimum period of 300 hours. A list of the parts furnished in the spare parts kits shall be submitted for review at the time of bid submission for completeness, cost and approval. Spare parts kit list shall be included

    39、 in the parts manual. U. Repair and Maintenance Parts. The following repair and maintenance parts shall be furnished with the crusher/plant. a. Two sets blow bars with pin. b. One each different type conveyor belt hinge pin. c. Two sets of V-belts for diesel power unit and conveyors if required. d.

    40、Two each conveyor belts for the crusher discharge, return, side discharge and front e. One each different horse power electric motor. f. Two each different type idlers. g. Six each all types rollers. h. Three each solenoid switch. i. One each different type belt field repair kit. j . One each screen

The size and number of containers used shall be predicated on the type, quantity and size of materials packed. Comm

    43、ercially available container options are as follows: 1. Three standard sized containers shall be provided for the repair and maintenance parts, one size shall be 90” by 72” with a maximum allowable weight of 4000 pounds, the second size shall be 45” by 72” with a maximum allowable weight of 4000 pou

    44、nds, and the third size shall be 45” by 36” with a maximum allowable weight of 2000 pounds. Height of each container can vary, however, if a standard height can be determined which generally matches up with all requirements, it shall be used exclusively. 2. A single commercial 1 O by 20 sea-land-van

    45、 container. All containers shall meet the following requirements: a. Shall have a forklift and lifting lugs capability (lifting lug capability is not required b. Shall be capable of repelling blowing rain when sorted outside. c. Shall be provided with vertical dividers to support and separate. d. Sh

    46、all be provided with removable shelving supported on vertical dividers. e. Shall be stackable three containers high. f. Top shall be hinged or lift-off design, one piece or multiple pieces. g. Container shall be given an ID number, listed in parts manual and be provided with an inventory list of equ

    47、ipment andor material packed in a container. Also enclosed shall be technical written material concerning the packed equipment and its application, if applicable. h. Shall be primed and painted inside, color shall be the same as the crusher/plant. if option 1 is chosen). W. Lubrication Plate. A lubr

Paint. The outer surface of the crusher/plant and any interior compartments shall be primed and painted in accordance with the manufactures standard commercial practice. The paint color shall be olive drab green. The crusher/plant shall be rust proofedundercoated in accordance with the manufactures standard commercial practice. Z. Safety.
