SCOPE AND FIELD OF APPLICATION This standard specifies the inspection and testing requirements for steel tubes : stfuctural tubes, - tubular blanks obtained by extruding, rolling and/or cold drawing, - tubular blanks obtained by drilling forged, or rolled bar

MECHANICAL TESTS ON PRODUCTS BEFORE DELIVERY The frequency of testing is given in table 1 of this standard. 3.1 Hardness test (see EN200Z-7 The hardness tests shal be-conducted only to check batch uniformity by compa- rison with the hardness test done on the tensile test piece. It

15、acceptance criteria are those of the material standard, Drift test (See EN2002-9 I) The drift test shall be used only for tubes of a wall thickness of .C 2 mm. mis test shall be carried out in accordance with the appropriate standard and the acceptance criteria are to be those of the material standa
16、rd, 3.4 4 TESTS SPECIFIC TO CERTAIN CATEGORIES OF MATERIAL 4.1 Decarburization Unless specially required by the material standards, products supplied hear. treated or annealed shall not exhibit decarburization of more than S% of the thickness, This decarburization shall however not exceed 0,2 mm. Th
17、is limit may be reduced by agreement between producer and customer as recorded in the test schedule. The measurement shall be made on a sample of the product in the as de 1 ived condit ion, Decarburization shall be checked according to the appropriate standard. 4.2 Intergranular corrosion This test
18、is required on tubes in austenitic corrosion resisting steels as indicated in the material standards, This test shall be carried out according to the appropriate standard. 4.3 Additional tests (see EN2069-1) i Other checks or further tests may be carried out, provided that they are included: in the

I 5 DIMENSIONS, TOLERANCES AND SURFACE DEFECTS 5.1 These parameters shall be inspected at a rate of 100%. 5.2 Dimensions and tolerances shall conform to the appropriate standards, 5.3 The surface of the products shall generally be cle
20、an, smooth and free from defects harmful to use such as cracks., pitting, score marks, inclusions and incrus tations , The surface of all rolled and extruded products shall be examined visually called for on the order and/or the test schedule, Unless otherwise specified in the order, cold drawn prod
21、ucts shall exhibit a surface free from traces of oxidation and score marks, the product remains within the limits of dimensional tolerances, 5.4 i without magnification, in the as heat treated and as delivered condition ! i i 5.5 5.6 Dressing by the producer to remove surface defects is permimed pro
