Illness and death of immediate family are the only consideration for excused absences. A doctors note should be presented if absence is due to illn

Homework: You are required to have a separate section with index tabs in your three-ring binder. Do not write your homework in your book. Ho

    26、mework is due on the day indicated in the weekly lessons plan. Hand-in worksheets and exercises to Ate Michelle or Ate Marvs during the first few minutes of class time. Homework submitted at the end of class will not be accepted. Points will not be given to students doing homework in class or in the

    27、 hallway.,C. Small Group Presentation and Meetings Small groups will be assigned during the second week of classes. If you have problems with your assigned small group, please see the instructor ASAP so we can make other arrangements.,Each group will Roleplay a Filipino Folk. Groups will do the foll

    28、owing:Write dialog lines based on the chosen Folk Story and submit a type written narrative (4-5 pages double spaces). The narrative should be a detailed description of the presentation and a written account of how the group prepared for the actual presentation. Create costumes and other props Group

    29、 members should be given a role to act and lines to memorize and participate in all group meetings and preparation Every group member should memorize all lines Present on the scheduled date of presentationPresentations that are not memorized will automatically be given an “F” grade under “Group Pres

    30、entation”, which is 100 pts. of the total grade.,Meet with your group at least once a week beginning on the 3rd week of class to discuss, brainstorm, and work on your presentation. PREPARE AND MEET WITH YOUR GROUP EARLY IN THE SEMESTER. DONT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST TWO WEEKS OF CLASSES TO DO THIS. Remem

    31、ber, you have to memorize your presentation.,D. Weekly Quizzes Vocabulary quizzes are short quizzes based on the weekly vocabulary words and grammar discussions. You are expected to review for these quizzes on your own using the website at www2.seasite.niu.edu/tagvocab or other helpful resources (e.

    32、g. class notes, notes given at the beginning of each week). This short quiz is given every Friday. NO make-up quizzes will be allowed.,E. Final Examination The final exam will be comprehensive. It will cover all the grammar and vocabulary lessons during the semester. The exam will consist of reading

    33、, vocabulary, writing, and listening, and grammar. The best way to review for the exam is to do all the above requirements (homework, websites activities (thematic lessons, grammar pages, and vocabulary website), listen to dialogs/and other audios, do all reading and writing exercises) during the se
