10、2. The text of the draft was approved by CENELEC as amendment A9 to HD 22.2 S2 on 22 September 1993. The following dates were fixed: - latest date of announcement of the amendment at national level (doa) 1994-03-01 - latest date of publication of a harmonized national standard - latest date of withd
11、rawal of conflicting national standards (dopl 1994-09-01 (dew) 1994-09-01 For products which have complied with HD 22.2 S2:1992 and its amendments A5:1992 to A8:1993 before 1994-09-01, as shown by the manufacturer or by a certification body, this previous standard may continue to apply for productio

13、n accordance with Part 2 sub-clause 2.6.2. Sub-clause 2.6.1 Add to sub-clause 2.6.1 the following: When sheathed single core cables are tested in accordance with this sub-clause, the efficacy of the spark testing equipment shall be determined by reference to the thickness of insulation only. For the
14、 purposes of testing sheathed single core cables, all references in Part 2 Appendix 1 to “insulation“, except where it refers to the determination of the diameter of the calibration hole (second sentence of sub-clause 2.2(d), shall be interpreted as meaning the combination of insulation and sheathing.
