No. HD 21:l S2:1990/A12:1993 E 3404583 0307470 932 Page 2 HD 21.1 S2:1990/A12:1993 FOREWORD Following a decision taken by CENELEC Technical Committee TC 20, Electric cables, an amendment to HD 21.1 S2:1990 was submitted to the CENELEC Unique Acceptance Procedure (UAP) in October 1992 for accep
11、tance as an amendment to the Harmonization Document. The text of the draft was approved by CENELEC as an amendment A12 to HD 21.1 S2 on 6 July 1993. The following dates were fixed: - latest date of announcement of the amendment at national level - latest date of publication of a harmonized national
12、standard - latest date of withdrawal of conflicting national standards (doa) 1994-03-01 (dop) 1994-09-01 (daw) 19 94-09-01 For products which have complied with HD 21.1 S2:1990 and its amendments before 1994-09-01, as shown by the manufacturer or by a certification body, this previous standard may c
13、ontinue to apply for production until 1995-09-01. Delete the existing sub-clause 5.6.3.1 and insert the following: 5.6.3.1 Flexing test for flexible cables See Part 2 sub-clause 3.1. During the test with 30 O00 cycles, i.e. 60 O00 single movements, neither interruption of the current, short circuit
14、bestween the conductors nor short circuit between the cables and pulleys (the flexible apparatus) shall occur. After the required number of cycles the sheath of the cable, if any, shall be removed. The cores shall then withstand the voltage test carried out in accordance with Part 2, sub-clause 2.3. i “E -
