28、 The moulded shapes shall be made from materials that ensure the finished product conform to the product standard. 29、both before and after unrestricted shrinkage, shall be free from bubbles, pinholes, creases and other defects that may affect performance. Dimensions As detailed in EN 4840-002. Temperature range See product standard. Shelf life The use by date shall be the guaranteed minimum storage time for which
30、the moulded shape retains the “as supplied” internal diameter. Following unrestricted shrinkage in accordance with the product standard, the moulded shape shall conform to the dimensions as specified in the EN 4840-002. In the event that the shelf life specimens fail the requirements of the product
31、standard of any product still held by the manufacturer or distributors delivery shall be halted, until samples of each batch in storage has been tested to confirm that they satisfy the original recovery qualification requirements before release can be resumed. In the event of failure the Mandated Bo
32、dy is to be notified. NOTE The use by date is the shelf life when stored under the conditions recommended in Annex A. Colours See product standards for available colours. The colours shall be a reasonable match to one of those specified in IEC 60304. Standard test specimens Moulded shape material sp
33、ecimens shall be prepared according to IEC 62329-2 Clause 4. Required properties The properties of the heatshrink shapes, tested according to the methods described hereafter shall comply with the values given in the product standards. Test methods For each product standard, tests shall be as given i
34、n Table 1. Shelf life tests Sufficient quantities of moulded shapes used for qualification shall be retained to provide the test samples for the conducting of the shelf life test for 60 months. (Shorter if specified in the product standard). Tests shall be conducted at 12 monthly intervals The mould
35、ed shapes shall be stored at a temperature of (23 3) C and a relative humidity between 45 % and 75 %. Measure the as supplied internal diameters and then fully recover the moulded shapes in accordance with the product standard. Measure the recovered internal diameters, length and wall thicknesses .T

45、lding material shall be submitted for qualification as test sheets in accordance with IEC 62329-2 Clause 4 or as moulded shapes to measure dimensions and mass and shall have a label containing information given in 8.1. Qualification tests See Table 1. Qualification tests shall be performed on sheets
46、 of material in accordance with IEC 62329-2 Clause 4 or moulded shapes as detailed in EN 4840-002. Select moulded shapes for the shelf life test. Approval may be granted subject to the provisions of 4.6. Due to the duration of this test approval may be granted prior to completion, but will be subjec
47、t to review on completion. Maintenance of qualification See Table 1. Tests shall be successfully carried out every 60 months for moulded shape material types in production or when production is restarted following a production stoppage greater than 36 months. The maintenance qualification tests shal
48、l be performed on specimens taken at random in accordance with EN 9133. Production routine tests Delivery condition See Table 1. The production routine tests shall be carried out on all material batches as shall consist of the tests listed in Table 1. Batch A batch of material shall consist of that
49、quantity of moulding material, mixed, and/or homogeneously blended at any one time. For continuous processing a single mix shall be defined by the manufacturer or supplier to the satisfaction of the approving authority. A batch of moulded shapes is that quantity of the same material type, dimensions and colour produced from one moulding machine, at one time under the same conditions from the same batch of moulding material.
