8、s - Reference test bar 1 SCOPE AND FIELD OF APPLICATION This International Standard specifies the dimensions and method of production of reference test bars for magnesium alloy sand castings. 2 DIMENSIONS AND METHOD OF PRODUCTION 2.1 The Figure below shows the dimensions of a mould pattern which all
9、ows the casting of a set of four reference test bars. These test bars are intended, after separation of the risers and the gates, to be tested without being machined. 2.2 Alternatively, test barsof not less than 13 mm diameter which may be machined to not less than 11.3 mm diameter may be used for r
