    8、asurementofscreenluminancelevel,asseenbya (seated)viewerforalltypesofpurelyopticalstillprojectionindarkenedprojectionrooms.Since theopticalcharacteristicsofthesurfaceofthisscreenhaveadirectbearingonluminance,the screenshallbeconsideredanintegralpartoftheprojectionsystemforthispartofISO11315. Astanda

    9、rdizedlightmeasuringsystemallowscomparisonofscreenluminancevaluesfor differentprojectionsystemsusedalternatelyinpracticaluse. 2Normativereferences Thefollowingstandardscontainprovisionswhich,throughreferenceinthistext,constitute provisionsofthispartof11315.Atthetimeofpublication,theeditionsindicated

    13、directionbytheproductofsolidangleoftheconeandtheareaoftheorthogonalprojectionof theelementofsurfaceonaplaneperpendiculartothegivendirection. CIEPubl.No.17 4Testmethodfordeterminingthescreenluminance Thedistributionofluminanceoverthescreensurfacefromacompleteprojectioninstallation (i.e.includingprojectorandscreeninaprojectionroom)i

    17、sinfluencedbyimpinginglight generatedbytheprojector(not byroomlighting),andthepropertiesofthescreen. Theluminancetowardstheviewingareaisdirectlydependentontheangleofthereflected(or transmitted)lightbythescreensurfaceaswellasontheviewingposition.Itisexpressedasa curvebytheluminancefactorindicatrix(se

    18、enotebelow).Toachievethis,theluminance distributionshallbedeterminedatthreetestpoints(seefigure1)forthreeselectedviewing positions.     20、Preconditioning Thepreparationprocedureshallbethesameasforthemeasurementofscreenillumination accordingtoISO113151:1997,subclause4.1. 5.2Measuringdevice Thescreenluminanceshallbemeasuredwithaluminancemeterhavingarecommendedfield anglenotgreaterthan1,5andthespectralsensitivityofaStandardColorimetricOb

    30、necessarytosetupastandardizedtechniqueformeasuring lightonascreenforall projectionmethods,inordertoreachdefinedprojectionconditions duringapresentationwithdifferenttypesofprojectors. AllprojectionmethodsincludedinthispartofISO11315involveopticalprojection,i.e.the projectionofanimageontoaprojectionsc

    31、reen byopticalmeans.Electronicprojectionmethods whichprojectimagesontomonitortypescreens (e.g.TVmonitors,TVreceivers,computers, etc.)donotfallwithinthescopeofthispartofISO11315.Furthermore,holographicsystems arenotwithinthescopeofthispartofISO11315.
