    8、tforstillprojectors 1Scope ThispartofISO11315specifiesalaboratorymeasuringmethodfordeterminingtheutilisedflux oftheprojectorandtheuniformityofscreenilluminanceindarkenedprojectionroomsforall typesofpurelyopticalstillprojection. Astandardizeduniformlightmeasuringsystemallowscomparisonofscreenillumina

    9、ncevalues fordifferentprojectionsystemsusedalternatelyinpracticaluse. 2Normativereferences Thefollowingstandardscontainprovisionswhich,throughreferenceinthistext,constitute provisionsofthispartofISO11315.Atthetimeofpublication,theeditionsindicatedwerevalid. CIEPubl.No.17 3.2luminousflux;lightoutput: Thequantityderivedfromradiantfluxbyevaluatingthe radiationaccordingtoitsactionuponaselectivereceptor,thespectralsensitivity

    15、tionforphotometricmeasurements 4.1Preconditioning Beforethecommencementofanytest,theprojectorshallbeconditionedbybeingkeptunder theenvironmentalconditionsofthetestinglaboratoryforatleast8h. 4.2Projectorsetup(lightpath) Whilemakingthetests,theprojectorshallbeoperatedwithitsnormalcomponents(e.g.light

    16、source,heatfilter,condenser,lens),butwithoutprojectionmaterial(i.e.slides,films,etc.inthe pictureareaorapertureplate). 4.3Voltage,currentandfrequencies 4.3.1 Theprojectorshallbeoperatedfromanadjustablepowersupplyadjustedtowithin 0,5%oftheratedvoltageoftheprojector. Whileadjustingthesupplyfortungsten

    17、lightingornoncontrollabledischargelamps,thevoltage shallbemeasuredatthesupplysockettowhichtherecommendedpowersupplycordofthe projectorisconnected.Thefrequencyofthepowersupplyshallmatchthemanufacturersrating fortheprojector.ISO ISO113151:1997(E) 3 Forcontrollablexenondischargelamps,thecurrentshallbet

    18、henominalvalue(accordingto thedataofthelampmanufacturer)0,5%.Inthecaseofxenondischargelampswitha relativelyvastluminousflux,themeasurementshallbemadethroughahighlightfilm (approximately D =0,10,15where Disthefilmthickness,inmillimetres)andwithhalfofthe nominalcurrent.Thevalueofthenominalluminousflux

    19、shallbecalculatedfromtheabove parameters. 4.3.2 Iftheprojector(equippedwithtungstenlightingornoncontrollabledischargelamps)is suitableforuseatdifferentvoltagesand/orfrequencies,themeasurementsfordeterminingthe luminousfluxshallbemadeeitherateachadjustablevoltage0,5%anditsrelatedfrequency, oratleasta

    20、taselectionofcharacteristicvoltagesandfrequencies.Whenselectingthevoltages andfrequencies,considerationshallbegiventothemainusageoftheprojectorinpractice,and theconditionsunderwhichextremedifferencesofthetestresultsmightbeexpected.The measurementsfordeterminingtheuniformityofscreenilluminancecanbema

    21、deatanyposition ofthevoltageselectorwiththerespectivelinevoltage0,5%andtherelatedfrequency. 4.3.3 Fordeterminingtheinputvoltageofthetungstenlamp,thevoltageatthelampholder shallbemeasuredwiththelampoperating,andafterthetimespecifiedin4.8haselapsed. (Whenalampisprovidedbyaswitchingpowersupply,useatrue

    22、r.m.svoltmeter.) 4.4Lampadjustment Thelampshallbeadjustedintheprojectoraccordingtotheoperatinginstructions. 4.5Cleanliness Theopticalelementsoftheprojectorshallbefreefromdustandothercontamination. 4.6Ambienttemperature Theambienttemperatureinthetestinglaboratoryshallbe23C2C. 4.7Projectoralignment Th

    23、eprojectorshallbepositionedsothattheprojectionofitsopticalaxisisnormaltotheplane ofthescreen.(SeeannexA,note.) 4.8Stabilization Ifthelampisfedviaatransformeroraballastresistance,thelightmeasurementsshallbe started,attheearliest,20minafterhavingswitchedonthelamp,runningundernormaltest conditions.Ifth

    24、elampisfeddirectlybythemainsvoltage,themeasurementscanbestarted after5min. 4.9Ambientlight Theilluminationofthescreenduetoambientlightshouldnotexceed1%ofthescreen illuminanceduetoilluminationprojectedthroughtheprojectorlensduringthemeasurement. Theeffectivediametersofthephotoelectricalcomponentshallbespecifiedinthetestresults (seeclause8). 5.3Useoflightmeter Thelightsensingelementofthemetershallbepositionedattheplaneofthescreenwitha toleranceof+ 20mmandparalleltoitsothatitmeasuresdirectly
