47、 and nuts 3.1 Material 3.1.1 Bolt material All bolts shall be made from one of the following materials: a) Hot-headed bolts, double-arming bolts, double-end bolts, and washer-head bolts shall be made from hot-rolled steel that has been produced by the open-hearth, basic-oxygen, or electric-furnace p
48、rocess and that is of a grade and quality suitable to meet the requirements of this standard. b) Cold-headed carriage bolts, machine bolts and washer-head bolts shall be made from steel cold-heading rod or wire, produced by the open-hearth, basic-oxygen, or electric-furnace process, that is of a gra
