    1、Designation: F3123 18a An American National StandardStandard Specification forMetric Outside Diameter Polyethylene (PE) Plastic Pipe (DR-PN)1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F3123; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the c

    2、ase of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope*1.1 This specification covers metric outside diameter poly-ethylene (PE) pipe made from poly

    3、ethylene compound thatqualifies for MRS, HDB and HDS ratings and for PE100 andPE4710 designations. Included are requirements for polyeth-ylene compound, workmanship, dimensions, short-term stressand ductility, long-term stress, marking, quality assurance andverification of joining.1.1.1 Polyethylene

    4、 pipe in accordance with Table 1 isintended to be compatible with nominal diameters in accor-dance with ISO 161-1, Specification D3035 and other pipesizing conventions, nominal pressures in accordance with ISO161-1 and wall thickness in accordance with ISO 4065.1.1.2 Polyethylene pipe in accordance

    5、with Table 2 isintended to be outside diameter compatible with steel pipeNPS/IPS nominal outside diameter pipe in accordance withspecifications such as Specification D3035, Specification F714,or AWWA C906.1.1.3 Polyethylene pipe in accordance with Table 3 isintended to be outside diameter compatible

    6、 with cast iron/ductile iron, DIPS/DIOD outside diameter pipe in accordancewith specifications such as Specification D3035, SpecificationF714, or AWWA C906.1.2 Pipes produced under this specification are intended forthe pressure or non-pressure conveyance of liquid or gaseousmedia. Pipes produced un

    7、der this specification are not intendedas enclosures for electrical or communications components.See Appendix X1.1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded asstandard.
