Scope*1.1 This specification provides standard fitting geometriesand laying lengths for plastic fittings in

(See Specifications D2661 andD2665.)1.2 Fittings meeting the requirements of this standard speci-fication are designed for use with outside diameter controlledpipe. The inside diameter can vary significantly as the wallthickness and outside diame

7、e Threads 60 for Thermo-plastic Pipe and Fittings3. Requirements3.1 Fittings shall conform to the geometries and layinglengths as shown in Tables 1-45 and Figs. 1-5. Tolerances shallbe 6116 in. unless otherwise specified.3.2 Spigot and hub dimensions shall conform to the require-ments of the referen
8、cing standard.3.3 The exact outside shape of a fitting is not determined bythe outline drawings shown in this specification but rather bythe socket dimensions, wall thickness requirements, waterway,laying lengths, and any other critical dimensions that may bespecified.3.4 The pitch of sockets for pa
9、tterns with 90 angles (exceptvent fittings) shall be14 in./ft or 1 12 min.3.5 On double reducing sanitary tees, the G2 dimension onbranches will be calculated on the larger size and centerlinesshall remain the same for both branches.3.6 All other dimensions, materials and property require-ments shal
10、l be in conformance with the referencing standard.4.
