25、vices and associated materials for frequency control, selection and detection FOREWORD 1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote
26、 international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To this end and in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International Standards, Technical Specifications, Technical Reports, Publicly Available Specifications (PAS) and Guides (he
27、reafter referred to as “IEC Publication(s)”). Their preparation is entrusted to technical committees; any IEC National Committee interested in the subject dealt with may participate in this preparatory work. International, governmental and non- governmental organizations liaising with the IEC also p
28、articipate in this preparation. IEC collaborates closely with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in accordance with conditions determined by agreement between the two organizations. 2) The formal decisions or agreements of IEC on technical matters express, as nearly as possible

This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published i
37、n 1991, Amendment 1:1995 and Amendment 2:1997. It constitutes a technical revision. It has the status of a horizontal standard in accordance with IEC Guide 108. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: the general title of Part 561 has b
38、een updated and changed to the same title as that of TC 49 (this new title is based on the change in the title of TC 49 in November 2009); the titles of the Sections have been changed to those of the IEC 61994 Glossary series made by TC 49/WG 11; these changes are considered useful and convenient fo
39、r present users; definitions have been updated; IEC 60050-561:2014 IEC 2014 V many new terms have been added; drawings have been inserted for easier understanding; technical terms are now arranged in alphabetical order according to their interdependence, in sections which themselves form the fundame
