We have never been to Beijing. 我们从来没有去过北京。 I have read the story before. 我以前读过这个故事。 【注意】 already(已经)通常用于肯定句,表示已经完成某事,可以加在助动词 have/has与实义动词的中间,也可以用在句子最后。yet 多用于否定句和疑问句,一般放在句尾。 She has already finished her task. =She has finished her task already. 她已经完成了她的任务。 Have the

    12、y cleaned the room yet? 他们打扫房间了吗? David hasnt made his bed yet. 大卫还没有整理床铺。2. I havent decided what to write about. 我还没有决定写什么内容。 what to write about 是带有疑问词的动词不定式,在本句中作宾语。 在宾语从句中,当主句的谓语动词是 know, ask, decide, be sure 等时,如果主句的主语和宾语从句的主语一致,往往可以把宾语从句省略为带有疑问词的不定式短语。如: I like to learn how I can cook and sew

    13、. =I like to learn how to cook and sew. 我想学习如何做饭和缝纫。 He asked where he could put the books. =He asked where to put the books. 他问把书放在哪儿。 I cant decide which sweater I will buy. =I cant decide which sweater to buy. 我不能决定买那件毛衣。 Mr. Green isnt sure when he will leave. =Mr. Green isnt sure when to leave.

    14、 格林先生不能确定什么时候离开。 I dont know what I should do next. =I dont know what to do next. 我不知道下一步干什么。3. Compared with poems, stories usually have longer passages. 和诗比起来,故事通常有更长的章节。compared to/with 意为“和比起来”,为过去分词短语做状语。Compared with many people, I think I am very lucky. 和很多人相比,我觉得我很幸运。4. Although a poem has f

    15、ewer words, its not always easier to write. 虽然诗歌用词较少,但写起来不总是容易的。1)all, both, everybody, always, everything 等词和 not 连用时,为部分否定,不是全部否定。表示全部否定时,应改为对应的否定词 none, neither, nobody, never, nothing 等。 Both of us dont know her. 我们俩不是都认识她。Neither of us knows her. 我们俩都不认识她。2)although 意为“虽然”,为从属连词,不能和并列连词 but 连用。

    16、Although he is tired, he still works. 虽然他累了,可他仍然工作。5Step7 Come to “LETS DO IT”.1. Do Exericse 2 on Page 51. Let students work it out in pairs. Then check answers as a class.2. Do Exercise 3 on Page 51. Make a new peom according to the requirements. Encourage students to think more words to finish the exercise.Homework(作业)1. Finish off the activity book.2.
