、alves for fire protection service shall be constructed to comply with thefollowing:1) The requirements for a Safety Valve as defined in the Standard for Electrically OperatedValves, UL 429 and2) The performance requirements in this Outline of Investigation.PERFORMANCE3 Overpressure Operation Test3.1
、 An electrically operated valve shall operate without malfunction when subjected to the overpressureoperation test specified in 3.2.3.2 Sample valves are to be installed in a supply line having pressure applied at twice the maximumoperating pressure differential of the valve. The valves are to be op

、st5.1 An electrically operated valve shall operate as intended when subjected to the high-temperatureendurance test specified in 5.2.5.2 Sample valves are to be conditioned at the maximum operating temperature for a minimum of 16hours before conducting the test and throughout the test duration. The
、valves are then to be connectedto a pressure supply line at maximum rated pressure, and operated for 3000 cycles.6 Low-Temperature Endurance Test6.1 An electrically operated valve shall operate as intended when subjected to the low-temperatureendurance test specified in 6.2.6.2 Immediately following
、 the High Temperature Endurance Test, Section 5, the same samples are to beconditioned to the minimum operating temperature for a minimum of 16 hours before conducting the testand throughout the test duration. The valves are then to be connected to a pressure supply line atmaximum rated pressure. Th
