    3、 with effective dates to be determined: Clauses 8.1.5, 8.1.6, 8.3.5, 9.2.6, 18.3.1, 18.7, and 22.11 Text that has been changed in any manner or impacted by ULs electronic publishing system is marked with a vertical line in the margin. Changes in requirements are marked with a vertical line in the ma

    4、rgin and are followed by an effective date note indicating the date of publication or the date on which the changed requirement becomes effective.     35、MISSION FROM UL Preface This is the harmonized CSA Group and UL Standard for Household Dishwashers. It is the sixth edition of CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 167, and the ninth edition of UL 749. This edition of CSA C22.2 No. 167 supersedes the previous edition published in 2008. This harmonized Standard was pre

    36、pared by CSA Group and Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL). The efforts and support of the Canadian Appliance Manufacturers Association (CAMA) and the Association of Home Appliance Manufactures (AHAM) are gratefully acknowledged. This Standard is considered suitable for use for conformity assessment

    37、 within the stated scope of the Standard. This Standard was reviewed by the CSA Subcommittee on Household Dishwashers, under the jurisdiction of the Technical Committee on Consumer and Commercial Products and the CSA Strategic Steering Committee on Requirements for Electrical Safety, and has been fo

    38、rmally approved by the CSA Technical Committee. This standard has been approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as an American National Standard. Where reference is made to a specic number of samples to be tested, the specied number shall be considered a minimum quantity. Note: A

    39、lthough the intended primary application of this standard is stated in its scope, it is important to note that it remains the responsibility of the users of the standard to judge its suitability for their particular purpose. Level of harmonization This standard is published as an identical standard

    40、for CSA Group and UL. An identical standard is a standard that is exactly the same in technical content except for national differences resulting from conicts in codes and governmental regulations. Presentation is word for word except for editorial changes. Interpretations The interpretation by the

    41、standards development organization of an identical or equivalent standard is based on the literal text to determine compliance with the standard in accordance with the procedural rules of the standards development organization. If more than one interpretation of the literal text has been identied, a

    42、 revision is to be proposed as soon as possible to each of the standards development organizations to more accurately reect the intent.
