    11、pes are additionally noted in this document. The standard may not use all types of thesedeviations.D1 - These are deviations which are based on basic safety principles and requirements, elimination ofwhich would compromise safety for U.S. consumers and users of products.D2 - These are deviations bas

    12、ed on safety practices. These are deviations for IEC requirements that maybe acceptable, but adopting the IEC requirements would require considerable retesting or redesign on themanufacturers part.DC - These are deviations based on the component standards and will not be deleted until a particularco

    13、mponent standard is harmonized with the IEC component standard.DE - These are deviations based on editorial comments or corrections.DR - These are deviations based on the national regulatory requirements.Each national difference contains a description of what the national difference entails. Typical

    14、ly one of thefollowing words is used to explain how the text of the national difference is to be applied to the base IECtext:Addition / Add - An addition entails adding a complete new numbered clause, subclause, table, figure,or annex. Addition is not meant to include adding select words to the base

    15、 IEC text.Deletion / Delete - A deletion entails complete deletion of an entire numbered clause, subclause, table,figure, or annex without any replacement text.Modification / Modify - A modification is an altering of the existing base IEC text such as the addition,replacement or deletion of certain

    22、ces Part 1-2: Requirements for Electronic Switches5.1.10DV D2 Addition of Clauses 5.1.10DV.1 5.1.10DV.3:5.1.10DV.1 During the endurance test of Clause 17 (Clause 17 in CAN/CSA-C22.2 No.61058-1-1/UL 61058-1-1 and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 61058-1-2/UL 61058-1-2), all exposed deadmetal parts shall be connecte

    23、d through a fuse to earth. Dead metal parts can includeframe, enclosures, and actuators. The potential between live parts and dead metal partsshall be the full test potential. The purpose of the fuse is to detect hazardous earth arcsshorting from live parts to exposed dead metal.5.1.10DV.2 The fuse

    24、amperage rating shall not be greater than 15 A, but shall be less thanthe available output amperage of the electrical supply source. The fuse voltage rating shallbe equal to or greater than the maximum potential to earth.5.1.10DV.3 Compliance is checked by inspection of the fuse. During the test, th

    25、e fuse shallremain intact and not open.10.10DV D2 Addition of the following clause to provide requirements for push-in typeterminals:A push-in (screwless) terminal shall not be used for connection of an earthing conductoror in the earthing path.Annex DVA D2 Addition of Annex DVA for television ratin

This Annexprovides the test specifics for a declared specific load rating for use in applicationswhere a high inru

    35、by means of its actuating member for 50 cycles ofoperation, making and breaking 150% of its rated current at a rate of not more than 10cycles per minute.DVA.2.2 There should be no electrical or mechanical malfunction of the switch.DVA.3 Endurance testDVA.3.1 A television switch shall be subjected to

    36、 10 000 cycles of operation making andbreaking its rated current at a rate of 6 to 10 cycles per minute.DVA.3.2 There should be no electrical or mechanical malfunction of the switch.DVA.4 Temperature testDVA.4.1 A switch shall be tested while continuously carrying the maximum rated current.The tempe

    37、rature rise on the wiring terminals shall not exceed 30C (54F).DVA.5 Dielectric testDVA.5.1 While in a heated condition, a switch shall be subject to the application of a 1 min,60-Hz essentially sinusoidal potential of 1 000 V between the following:a) Live parts and exposed dead metal parts.b) Switc

    38、h contacts with the switch in the open position.c) Live parts of opposite polarity.DVA.5.2 There should be no breakdown.DVA.6 Continued endurance testDVA.6.1 Upon completion of the overload, endurance, temperature, and dielectric tests, aswitch shall be subjected to an additional 15 000 cycles of op
