    4、egulations, CC Docket No. 99-216, FCC 00-400, adopted November 9, 2000 and released December 21, 2000 (“Order” or “R (b) there is no assurance that the Document will be approved by any Committee of TIA or any other body in its present or any other form; (c) the Document may be amended, modified or c

    21、6 or by direct attachment to wiring installed by the provider(s) of wire linetelecommunications including, but not limited to, splicing, bridging, twisting, and soldering.Hardware used to mount, protect, and enclose standard jacks is not described in this standard orTIA-1096. The only requirement on

    22、 connecting blocks, housings, dust covers, outdoor boxes, andthe like that contain standard network jacks is that they shall accept standard plugs with cordage. 6.1 Reserved6.2 WIRING CONFIGURATIONSThe connectors specified in TIA-1096 shall be wired in accordance with any of the applicablewiring con

    23、figurations provided in T1.TR.5-1999. The applicable connector and connector wiringconfiguration for approved TE shall be identified in consumer instructions and product approvaldocumentation.6.2.1 Universal Service Ordering CodeA Universal Service Ordering Code (USOC) is specified in T1.TR.5-1999 f

    24、or each wiringconfiguration. If a customer wishes to have the wireline carrier install a jack or wiringconfiguration, the appropriate USOC needs to be specified when the customer requests serviceinstallation.6.2.2 Default Connector Wiring ConfigurationIn the absence of a request for a specific type of jack and wirin

    27、onfiguration6.3 CONFIGURATIONS USED TO CONNECT MULTI-LINE COMMUNICATIONSSYSTEMS SUCH AS PRIVATE BRANCH EXCHANGE (PBX) AND KEY TELEPHONESYSTEMSAny of the jack configurations specified in section 6.2, used singly, in multiple combinations, orcombined in common mechanical arrays, may be used as the int

    28、erface between multi-lineequipment such as PBX and key telephone systems, and the telephone network. The telephonecompany and installation supervisor may mutually agree to use electrical connections alternativeto those specified in section 6.2.5 CLAUSE REVISIONS in TIA-968-A-3CLAUSE 4.5.9.2.3In clau

    29、se 4.5.9.2.3 of TIA-968-A-3 add the following:For 16-TCPAM G.SHDSL with 2320 kbps payload rate 3840 kbps, and for 32-TCPAMG.SHDSL with 768 kbps payload rate 5696 kbps, the requirements for longitudinal outputvoltage from clause 5.4.2.3 of T1.417-2003 shall be used with the following exceptions:Repla

    30、ce the template SHDSLT(f) defined in 5.4.2 of T1.417-2003 with PSD(f) in clause 4.5.9.2.4of this document.
