23、This Standard takes the entire contents of clause 4 of the Sectional Specification into account. 30、 requirements There are no additional requirements. 4 Inspection requirements . . 4.1 Qualification approval For qualification approval, the process shall be in accordance with 5.2 of the Sectional Specification, which in turn references 4.3 of the Generic Specification. The minimum sample size I is

31、 the same as that specified for periodic requalification in the tables that follow. 4.2 Quality Conformance Inspection (QCI) Quality Conformance Inspection shall be in accordance with 5.3 of the Sectional Specification. Note that periodic requalification is a standard component of the QCI program. 5

32、 Quality assessment tables Tables 1 through 4 cover both qualification approval and QCI requirements, and represent the required list of attributes, as given in 3.1 of this document. 34、 one test procedure for a given parameter. Many test procedures give interchangeable results, based on interla boratory comparisons. Whenever a non-TINEIA test or a TINEIA surrogate test is called out, there is a reference to Annex D, which gives further details. -. NOTE 3 - In column 4 certain perf

35、ormance requirements need more detailed discussion than a table can accommodate. For example, multiple values may be allowed, and specified alternatives are recommended. See Annex B. Four annexes support the tables: - Annex A explains the QCI codes and levels. - Annex B covers performance requiremen

36、ts for certain attributes, the details of which cannot readily be accommodated in a table. This (normative) annex covers multicellular part numbers, as explained in 3.6.3 of the Generic Specification: attributes for which there are multiple limits or multiple nominal values. - Annex C shows a diagra

Some detail is given. 5 Copyright Elect

When measuring phase-shift, it is essential to prevent ambiguities of 360n degrees, where n is an integer. This can be accomplished by selecting a modulation frequency sufficiently low enough to limit

The group-delay at each measurement frequency for the calibration and test sample measurement may be determined from the measured phase-shift by: t = $/(360 x 9 where t = group-delay, 4 = measured phase, and f = modulation frequency. The fiber length in meters may be determined by: L =
