This Specification, in conjunction with Generic Specification TIAIElA-4920000-B and Sectional Specification TIAIEIA-492AOOO-A,
18、 follow the specification structure of the National Electronic Components Quality Assessment System (NECQ). I Scope This Detail Specification applies to class la, graded-index, 62.5/125 pm multimode optical fiber used as a component in the manufacture of fiber-optic cable used in buildings. Applicat

The tables of this document include the minimum list of attributes specified in clause 4 of the Sectional Spec
24、ification. 3.2 Marking Marking shall conform to the provisions of 3.3 of the Sectional Specification. 3.3 Numbering system The numbering system shall conform to 3.8 of the Generic Specification. Use the part number for all items on every purchase order to define .particular choices for certain param

32、roval, the process shall be in accordance with 5.2 of the Sectional Specification, which in turn references 4.3 of the Generic Specification. The minimum sample size is the same as that specified for periodic requalification in the tables that follow. 4.2 Quality Conformance Inspection (QCI) Quality
33、 Conformance Inspection shall be in accordance with 5.3 of the Sectional Specification. Note that periodic requalification is a standard component of the QCI program. 5 Quality assessment tables Tables 1 through 4 cover both qualification approval and QCI requirements, and represent the required lis
34、t of attributes, as given in 3.1 of this document. NOTE 1 - Column 1 cross references the subclause in the Sectional Specification that gives more detail on preferred values and characteristics. NOTE 2 - Column 3 often lists more than one test procedure for a given parameter. Many test procedures gi
35、ve interchangeable results, based on interlaboratory comparisons. Whenever a non-TINEIA test or a TINEIA surrogate test is called out, there is a reference to Annex D, which gives further details. Use a laser diode or filtered LED with a known center w
41、avelength. The FWHM should be less than 30 nm. The launch and receive optics should excite and detect only the lowest order modes; therefore single-mode launch and receive optics are desired. When measuring phase- shift, it is essential to prevent ambiguities of 360n degrees, where n is an integer.
42、This can be accomplished by selecting a modulation frequency sufficiently low enough to limit the phase- shift to less than 360 degrees. A phase “zero-length“ reference is needed for each of the measurement frequencies used. This may be accomplished by connecting the test-set launch and receive opti
