This standard is an addition to the general require ments for detectors for use in intruder alarm systems as specified in IEC839-2-2; it shall also be used in conjunction with the standard for generalrequirements of alarm systems, IEC 839-

24、ion caused by persons moving in thea rea of detection coverage.3.2 Sensitive sectorsThose sectors in the optical pattern of the detector which detect infra- redradiation.3.3 Area of detection coverageThe area within which a reference target moving at a constant distancefrom the detector will cause a

For the purpose of this standard, this shall take the formshown in figure 1.3.5 Detection rangesThe detection ranges for given directions are the radial distance from thedetec

For the purpose of this standard, this shall takethe form of a cylinder 30 mm in diameter and 150 mm in leng

27、th.4 General considerationsThe detector shall consist of one or more sensors and a processor. Whereadditional sensors may be optionally added, the tests required in Clause 6shall be carried out without these additional sensors. The detectors mayhave means incorporated to vary the direction of the se

Detectors may alsoincorporate means to permit the measurement of the extent of the sensitivesectors, but if these means prevent the detector from meeting the require ments of this standard, an indication shall be given whenever the
