NOTES a) The standards referred to in this standard are listed in appendix A. b) Requirements

10、 that must be specified by the purchaser are given in appendix B. c) Information regarding the verification of the quality of ceramic hollow insulators produced to this standard and a sampling plan that could be used to assess compliance with the standard of a lot of hollow insulators are given in a

12、of a hollow insulator shall be in accordance with the drawing or data sheet of the hollow insulator and shall, in general, conform to one of the typical designs given in figures 1 to 6, appropriate to the type designation of the insulator. 3.2.2 The dimensions of a hollow insulator shall not differ

13、from those given on the drawing or in the data sheet of the hollow insulator by more than the relevant tolerance given in SANS 62155. Amdt 1; amdt 2 3.2.3 The faces on a hollow insulator and, when relevant, on its insulator cup that are intended to form part of the oil seal on the partition on which

28、the requirements laid down in the standard Amdt 2 C.1 Quality verification C.1.1 When a purchaser requires ongoing verification of the quality of ceramic hollow insulators, it is suggested that, instead of concentrating solely on the evaluation of the final product, the purchaser also pays attention

29、 to the quality system of the manufacturer. In this connection it should be noted that SANS 9001 covers the provision of an integrated quality system. Amdt 1; amdt 2 C.1.2 If the hollow insulators do not bear a certification mark and no information about the implementation of quality control or test

30、ing during manufacture is available to help in assessing the quality of a lot, and a purchaser wishes to establish, by inspection and testing of samples of the final product, whether a lot (as defined in C.2.1) of the hollow insulators produced to this standard complies with its requirements, the sa

It must be noted that a) such a sampling plan applies to fully manufactured hollow insulators only, and 2) The information in the appendices is additional to that in the standard and has been included purely for amplification and guidance.
