7、rsedes SABS 1360-1:1982 (edition 1). Preface This specification has been prepared under the direction of the SABS Clothing Committee. It is, in technical content, identical to ISO 3636. This specification is one of a series which deals essentially with the size designation of clothes, and is not dir

8、ectly concerned with sizing systems as such. The primary aim of this specification is, as in the other specifications in the series, to establish a size designation system that is based on body measurements, and that indicates (in a simple, direct, and meaningful manner) the body size of the person

9、that a garment is intended to fit. Provided that the shape of the persons body (as indicated by the appropriate dimensions) has been accurately determined, this system will facilitate the choice of garments that fit. Choice of garment measurements is normally left to the designer and the manufacture
