    6、me requirements which currently exist in SAE J2844 for R1234yf refrigerant. 1. SCOPE This SAE Standard applies to new refrigerant used in motor vehicle passenger air-conditioning (A/C) systems designed to use HFC-134a. Hermetically sealed, refrigerated cargo systems are not covered by this document.

PURITY SPECIFICATION The refrigerant referred to in this document shall fulfill all requirements of ARI

    12、700-2004 including the following levels. The refrigerant shall be tested according to the methods of test in ARI 700-1995 Appendix C. 3.1 Purity 3.1.1 Volatile Impurities Including Other Refrigerants 3.1.1.1 Method The amount of volatile impurities including other refrigerants in the subject refrige

    13、rant shall be determined by gas chromatography as described in Appendix C to ARI Standard 700. 3.1.2 Limits The test sample shall not contain more than 0.5% by weight of volatile impurities including other refrigerants. 3.1.2.1 Unsaturated Compound Volatile Impurities The test sample of HFC-134a sha

    14、ll not contain more than 40 ppm by weight of halogenated unsaturated volatile impurities, unless listed individually in 3.1.2.2. 3.1.2.2 Individual Listed Volatile Impurities There is no individual impurity exceptions listed in this version of the Standard. Interested parties may petition SAE to lis

    15、t individual impurities at desired levels by submitting a request and information to justify the request to SAE headquarters for consideration by the SAE Interior Climate Control Standards Committee. 3.2 Other Requirements 3.2.1 As referenced in ARI 700-2004 moisture shall not exceed 10 ppm by weigh

    16、t. 3.2.2 High boiling residue shall not exceed 0.01% by volume. 3.2.3 Particulates/solids shall be visually clean to pass. 3.2.4 Acidity shall not exceed 1 ppm as expressed in ppm by weight as HCl. 3.2.5 Air and other non-condensables shall not exceed 1.5% gas phase by volume at 23.9 C. CONTAINER AND SHIPPING CARTON IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 6.1 Refrigerant meeting these requirements identified in this doc

    20、ument shall contain a marking on the container and shipping carton. 6.1.1 The label or imprint marking in bold type having a minimum height of 5 mm and shall state: “Meets SAE J2776 purity standard.” 7. CERTIFICATION 7.1 In order to label any product(s) they shall meet SAE J2776, BY COMPLETATION OF

    21、TEST VERIFICATION TABLE A and the certification process as described in SAE J2911 must be followed and the documentation described in the appendix shall be submitted to SAE. 8.     24、ENDIX A - REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATION TO SAE J2911 For Compliance this Standard shall meet SAE J2911 Procedure for Certification that Requirements for Mobile Air Conditioning System Components, Service Equipment, and Service Technician Training. This Standard provides manufacturers, testing facil

    25、ities and technician knowledge requirement providers with a procedure of certifying compliance with the appropriate SAE standard. Only certifying to SAE J2911 allows those verifying compliance to advertise their product as “Certified to the appropriate SAE Standard”. Industry, interested parties and

    26、 Regulatory agencies will have access to the SAE International public Web Site posting of the results in the official SAE database. The compliance information for this Standard J2776 shall be recorded, verified in Table A and supplied to SAE. The responsible Committee shall establish the required ce
