THE SUPPLIER SHALL CAREFULLY REMOVE THE BRAID FOR THE AIR PRESSURE TEST. THE REQUIRED AS83519 SPECIMENS WIT
27、H AND WITHOUT THE BRAID SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE QUALIFYING ACTIVITY. FOR QUALIFICATION AND RETENTION OF QUALIFICATION TESTING, THE SPECIMENS SHALL BE INSTALLED ON THE END OF THE CABLE ASSEMBLY WITH THE CABLES SPECIFIED IN TABLE 2. THE NUMBER OF SPECIMENS WITH THE BRAID AND WITHOUT THE BRAID SHALL

30、TAGE TESTS SHALL BE PERFORMED ON THREE TEST SAMPLES OF M83519/3-03, M83519/3-08, M83519/13 AND M53519/3-18 (TOTAL 12 PARTS) IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESPECTIVE TEST METHODS (INSULATION RESISTANCE AND DIELECTRIC WITHSTANDING VOLTAGE (4.7.2 AND 4.7.3) OF THE BASE SPECIFICATION, AS83519. THE BRAID STRAP FROM
31、 THE TEST SPECIMEN SHALL BE CAREFULLY REMOVED PRIOR TO SPLICE TERMINATION. WHEN TESTED WITH THIS METHOD, THE TEST SPECIMEN SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF INSULATION RESISTANCE AND DIELECTRIC WITHSTANDING VOLTAGE AS SPECIFIED IN 3.6.2.2 AND 3.6.2.3, RESPECTIVELY, OF THE BASE SPECIFICATION, AS83519. 32、PPLICATION NOTES: 1. WHEN END STRIPPED CABLE SEALING (SEE FIGURE 2), THE BEST RESULTS ARE OBTAINED WHEN THE SMALLEST SIZE TERMINATION FOR THE CABLE/LEAD WIRE COMBINED IS USED. 2.
