16、ching to produce a nominal permanent set of 2%, but not less than 1% or more than 3%, and overaged to the -T77511 temper (See AS1990).3.2.1 Product shall be supplied with an as-extruded surface finish; light polishing to remove minor surface imperfections is permissible provided such imperfections c
17、an be removed within specified dimensional tolerances.3.2.2 Product may receive minor straightening, after stretching, of an amount necessary to meet tolerance requirements of 3.6.3.3 Solution heat treatment shall be in accordance with the requirements of AMS 2772. 21、rdance with ASTM G 34 and material shall not exhibit exfoliation corrosion greater than that illustrated by Photo B, Figure 2. 22、2 and T/10 plane.3.4.3.2 Stress-Corrosion Cracking: When specified, specimens from extrusions with section thickness 0.750 inches (19.05 mm) and greater tested in accordance with ASTM G 47, shall show no evidence of stress corrosion cracking when stressed in the short-transverse direction to 25 ksi

27、 is acceptable when KQvalue equals or exceeds the minimum KICrequirement.3.5 Quality: The product, as received by the purchaser, shall be uniform in quality and condition, sound, and free from foreign material and from imperfections detrimental to usage of the product.3.5.1 When specified, each extr
28、uded profile (shape) shall be subjected to ultrasonic inspection in accordance with ASTM B 594. Such extrusions, with nominal thickness 0.500 to 1.0 inches (12.70 to 25.4 mm), inclusive, and weighing 600 pounds (272 kg) and under and having a maximum width-to-thickness ratio of 10:1, shall meet ultr
29、asonic Class B requirements, as described in ASTM B 594.3.6 Tolerances: Shall conform to applicable requirements of ANSI H35.2 or ANSI H35.2M.4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS: 4.1 Responsibility for Inspection: The vendor of extrusions shall supply all samples for vendors tests and shall be responsib
30、le for the performance of all required tests. 33、ecified) (3.5.1), and tolerances (3.6) are acceptance tests and, except for composition, shall be performed on each lot.4.2.2 Periodic Tests: Compressive yield (3.4.1), is a periodic test and shall be performed at a frequency selected by the vendor unless frequency of testing is specified by the pur
34、chaser.4.3 Sampling and Testing: Shall be in accordance with AMS 2355 or MAM 2355.4.4 Reports: The vendor of extrusions shall furnish with each shipment a report stating that the extrusions conform to the chemical composition, ultrasonic inspection (when specified), and tolerances and showing the nu
35、merical results of tests on each inspection lot to determine conformance to the other acceptance test requirements. This certified report shall include the purchase order number, inspection lot number, AMS 4325, size or section identification number, and quantity. The report shall include identity o
36、f the producer and the size of the mill product.4.5 Resampling and Retesting: Shall be in accordance with AMS 2355 or MAM 2355.5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY: 5.1 Identification: Shall be in accordance with ASTM B 666/B 666M.5.2 Packaging and Preservation: 5.2.1 Product shall be protected from damage d
37、uring storage and shipment by a method determined by vendor unless specified by purchaser. Examples of typical protective methods are, but are not limited to, interleaving with paper or oiling of the surface.5.2.2 Extrusions shall be prepared for shipment in accordance with ASTM B 660 and in complia
