    5、lastomer in the form of molded sheet and shapes, color coded white in accordance with ARP1527.1.2 Application: This elastomer has been used typically for parts in pressurized aircraft compartment interiors such as grommets, tube supports, clamp cushions, bushings and seals where flame resistance, lo

    6、w smoke density and non-toxic gas generation are required, but usage is not limited to such applications. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: 3.1 Material: Shall be a silicone rubber compound suitably cured to produce a product meeting the requirements of paragraph 3.2 of this specification and not contain any

    14、 fabric reinforcement unless otherwise specified.3.1.1 Product shall be color coded white in accordance with ARP1527.AMS 3310 SAE AMS 3310- 3 -3.1.2 The test fluids used for soak testing shall be the two commercially available, low density, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids that meet AS1241, Type IV,

    15、 Class 1, Grade A requirements. Fluid soak tests shall be performed in each fluid independently.     23、 The product, as received by purchaser, shall be uniform in quality and condition, smooth, as free from foreign material as commercially practicable, and free from imperfections detrimental to usage of the product.4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS: 4.1 Responsibility for Inspection: The manufacturer o

    24、f the product shall supply all samples and shall be responsible for all required tests. Purchaser reserves the right to sample and to perform any confirmatory testing deemed necessary to ensure that the product conforms to the requirements of this specification. The manufacturer may use their own fa

    28、e performed on each lot:4.2.2 Preproduction Tests: All technical requirements are production tests, and shall be performed prior to or on the initial shipment of a product by the manufacturer to a purchaser, when a change in material and/or processing, requires reapproval, as in 4.4.2, and when purc

    29、haser deems confirmatory testing to be required.4.3 Sampling and Testing: Shall be as follows:4.3.1 For Acceptance Tests: Sufficient product shall be taken at random from each lot to perform all required tests. The number of determinations for each requirement shall be as specified in the applicable

    30、 test procedure, or if not specified therein, not less than three. When the product supplied is of such shape that suitable test specimens cannot be cut from the product, a separate, flat strip test sample shall be supplied upon request.4.3.2 A lot shall be all product from the same batch of compoun

    31、d processed in one continuous run and presented for manufacturers inspection at one time.4.3.3 A batch shall be the quantity of compound run through a mill or mixer at one time.4.4 Approval: 4.4.1 Sample product shall be approved by purchaser before material for production use is supplied. Results o

    33、S 3310 SAE AMS 3310- 7 -4.4.2 Manufacturer shall use ingredients, manufacturing procedures, processes, and methods of inspection on product materials which are essentially the same as those used on the approved sample material. If necessary to make any change in ingredients, in type of equipment for

    34、 processing, or in manufacturing procedures, manufacturer shall submit for reapproval a statement of proposed changes in material and/or processing, and when requested, sample product. Production product made by the revised procedure shall not be shipped prior to receipt of reapproval.4.5 Reports: 4

    35、.5.1 The supplier of the product shall furnish with each shipment a report from the manufacturer showing the results of tests to determine conformance to the acceptance test requirements and stating that the product conforms to the other technical requirements. This report shall include the purchase

    36、 order number, lot number, AMS 3310, manufacturers identification, form or part number, and quantity.4.5.2 A material safety data sheet conforming to AMS 2825, or equivalent, shall be supplied to each purchase prior to, or concurrent with, the report of preproduction test results or, if preproductio

    37、n testing is waived by purchaser, concurrent with the first shipment of product for production use. Each request for modification shall be accompanied by a revised data sheet for the proposed modification.4.6 Resampling and Retesting: If any specimen used in the above tests fails to meet specified r

    38、equirements, disposition of the product may be based on the results of testing three additional specimens for each original nonconforming specimen. Failure of any retest specimen to meet the specified requirements shall be cause for rejection of the product represented. Results of all tests shall be

    39、 reported.5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY: 5.1 Identification and Packaging: Shall be in accordance with AMS 2810.5.1.1 A lot of product may be packaged in small quantities and delivered under the basic lot approval provided lot identification is maintained.6. ACKNOWLEDGMENT: A supplier shall mention th
