    38、1.2.1 Sizes Of Motors*NOTE: When part load operation is required, specify efficiency and power factor at 1/2 and 3/4 as well as full load.Wattage Horsepowerratings indicated are minimum sizes for guidance only and do not limit the motor size.*Provide motors of a sufficient size for the duty to be pe

    39、rformed, and not exceeding the full-load rating when the driven equipment is operating at specified capacity under the most severe loading conditions.2.1.2.2 EfficiencyConvert metric motor sizes to English units by multiplying the kilowatt rating by 1.34 to determine the horsepower equivalent. Compa

    40、re the result to the motor sizes listed in DOE CI-1 and use the closest size listed to the horsepower equivalent for determining efficiencies Ensure motors have efficiencies in accordance with the recommended levels specified in DOE CI-1.Ensure Efficiency Labeling is in accordance with NEMA MG 1.2.1

    41、.3 Electrically Driven EquipmentWhen electrically driven equipment differs from that indicated, ensure adjustments have been made to the motor size, wiring and conduit systems, disconnect devices, and circuit protection to accommodate the equipment actually installed, at no additional cost to the Go

    42、vernment.
